We're building AI agents that resolve customer support tickets for e-commerce businesses autonomously end-to-end. They cancel orders, issue refunds, check inventory, talk to suppliers, and get better over time.
To make this scalable, we're building an AI Manager: a higher-level agent that trains, monitors, and optimizes the Support Agents with minimal human input - effectively an AI-run support team. We're a YC-backed company.
What makes this technically hard
- Making AI fully self-serve
Other platforms rely on human-heavy implementation or stay shallow. We want store owners to set up and improve their agents entirely on their own — with feedback and correction systems that feel like managing a human teammate, not writing prompts. This is an unsolved problem. - AI-native integration into arbitrary systems
Every customer stack is different: Shopify, custom ERPs, legacy APIs. Hand-built integrations don't scale. We're building AI that can explore APIs, find real data, understand schemas, and reduce integration time from weeks to hours.
How we build
A small, AI-native team can outbuild companies 50× our size — if AI is a core part of how we design, build, and ship software.
- AI is a collaborator, not a tool
We use Claude, Cursor, and others to reason about architecture, generate evals, explore codebases, and execute meaningful chunks of work. - Agents are new stakeholders in the system
Our APIs and abstractions are designed to be legible to AI. Clear naming, coherent schemas, consistent patterns — this makes both the codebase and our agents smarter. - Systems thinking over speed-hacking
We build abstractions that compound over time, for humans and AI.
What we're looking for
We don't care about years of experience. We care that you can build. You might be a fit if:
